The smell of August makes my heart skip a beat, I mean the rainy fragrance of the soil and the constant smell of greenery, reminds me of all my favorite spirits for the season. This post is specially dedicated to my favorite perfumes and mists...


Perfumes for me are sensory pleasures that can be bought with money! :p
All the perfumes have captivated me and allowed me to believe once again in magic and true artistry hat ca be created when a talented nose is given free reign to over the tools needed to make a bottle of alchemy. I think perfumes are made out of pure emotions and this realization happens to me every time I sniff these little bottles that flow like beautiful musical notes. I am not a very avid user of perfumes, but like they say, a woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future, I ensure I owe a fragrance whenever I am out. Most of the perfumes here in the pictures are the ones gifted to me by my closest people, hence they are all super special fragrances. Dolce & Gabbana's Light blue fragrance captures the electricity and the excitement of a love affair with a strong earthy woman, my favorite in the list. The Davidoff  cool water has a very aquatic and sea salt fragrance, ideal for an evening date :D. Next in the line is Victoria's Secret forever pink body  mist, any word of appreciation is less for this plastic bottle marvel. It's ingredients work wonders on the skin. Last but not the least is Pretty Flower, as pretty as it's name, is my day wear cologne.

Someone recently asked me why do I need to indulge in expensive perfumes, literally? Here is my explanation to this-


DID YOU KNOW: Perfumes have three notes. The first note is the scent you smell in the first 15 minutes of applying it. The second note is the second scent you smell in the next 30 minutes. The final, third note is the last scent that remains on your skin and lingers on for ideally several hours minimum. low cost perfumes usually miss the third note. 

Hence I recommend all my beautiful followers to indulge in one extravagant smell and feel like a queen you deserve to be!

    I want to smell the D&G one. I don't know why, I just need to now lol. I would splurge on a more expensive perfume. If it smells good, why not? And usually, they always look so pretty on the vanity. :P
