Kangana's Oops Moment On The Runway!

Even though she walked with great poise and elan in Madhur Bhandarkar's film "Fashion", but actress Kangana Ranaut was unable to move forward smoothly as the showstopper for designer Namrata Joshipura at the grand finale of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) autumn-winter 2014.

Just after taking a few steps, one could notice her struggling with her gown created by Joshipura. After stumbling a few times, she slightly lifted her gown up with both hands to avoid herself from falling on the stage.

Nevertheless, she looked like a stunner on the head ramp and of course she posed comfortably for all the cameras!

Namrata Joshipura's collection at Wills India Fashion Week 2014 grand finale was electro-style with lots of oomph factor.

How To Have Kiss Proof Lips This Spring!

In my series, Basic Training, I’ll be giving a crash course on simple hair and makeup tricks that you still haven’t quite mastered.

Who doesn't love kiss-proof lips? Makeup Artists all across have been sharing tips on process of getting smudge-proof lipstick...here is a tested method for you all to follow!

Step 1: Dampen lips and lightly exfoliate them. Use sugar mixed in a drop of honey and rub it well for just 20 seconds by the clock. If you are allergic to honey, use a combination of sugar and a drop of lime juice and do the trick. This will buff away dead skin cell.. Just make sure to wipe the excess off with a paper towel before starting lipstick application.

Step 2: Line your lips with a clear liner. Stay just within your lip lines. “It acts as a road block, so lip color can’t get out of the lines.”

Step 3: Prime lips with foundation. Gently press some foundation on top of your lips using your fingers.

Step 4: Use a lip liner to draw the perimeter of your lips. Fill in your lips with the liner.

Step 5: Apply your lip color.

Step 6: Once your color has set, you can apply a clear lip balm either with a brush or with your finger.

Step 7: Use a pearl colored highlighter on your cupid’s bow. You can also dot it on the center of your bottom lip to make lips really stand out.

And ta-da  “You can drink your cocktail without worrying.”

Hope these steps help you with the perfect kiss proof lips. Let me know your thoughts by dropping a comment below!

Last Minute DIY Valentine Gifting Ideas!!!

14th February is almost here and as usual I am late and hence I was wondering what to gift to my loved ones (I know that doesn't sound good) but nevertheless, I began looking up on the internet for some cute ideas and I found some inspiring DIY gifts that you too can do for your boyfriend or girlfriend!

Idea #1

If you really really love him then you must let him know. This idea is my favorite of the lot. All you need to do is, send letters or small notes, put in different envelopes stating each reason as to why you love him. Bets for long distance relationships and very appropriate for the ones closer to you, you can simply hand it over to them after your date gets over!

Idea #2

"Kisses for You" Valentines notes. Cut out lipstick kiss marks and write sweet notes on the back as a cute Valentine's Day gift for him. And every time he is away, he will always have a kiss from you!

Idea #3

For the health conscious gym boy who is utterly fond of nuts and raisins, pack a jar of dry fruits for him in a cute way (with lace, ribbon, glitter) and write a personal message like- 'You are Nuts About Him'. This may not be the only gift you will want to give but it will surely bring a smile on his face.

Idea #4

If he loves eating sweet, then this is your perfect chance to woo him with your culinary skills! Baking a heart shaped cake is super simple with this tutorial. Bake his favorite flavor in 2 parts to get the desired shape of the heart (refer to to the image above) and cut it when you are with him.

Idea #5

Who could image that the clips we use to hang our washed clothes could be a perfect tool to share personalized message. This is a perfect idea for first timers or the ones who still havent confessed their feelings. Try to get the wooden clips to get the desired results and yes, your message could be sweet or kinky, totally your call!

Idea #6

He loves his coffee and that too in a big mug! Well in that case get him one with hand written message/love letter on it that he will see every time he sips his potion. All you need is a marker and a mood full of love to scribble your thoughts. Don't worry if you make little errors, it will just add to it's value.

Idea #7

You have your eyes set on him? well then, let him know this through pictures, your pictures. All you need is a photo frame with 3 container and 3 images of you poiting out the message that you intend to give. In the image above, the lover clearly states that she has her eyes are all heart of her love, now isn't that adorable? Do it for him and see his reaction!

Idea #8

Gifts for each hour of the day. This is a cute idea for anniversaries, birthdays, valentine's day, etc. You can pack any little gift, it need not be really expensive items, just a picture of you two, his favorite chocolate, his favorite music CD, a poster of his favorite football team and pack it as a gift for each hour. You can also attach a little note to each gift with a hint as to what the gift would be like!

Idea #9

Here's a adult gift idea for couples. Purchase unique items like a sexy lingerie, a perfume that drives him crazy, a cuff, a blind fold and everything that you want to experiment with! Place each pair in a different envelope and mark a day of the week that makes him run his imagination all over the place. Write a catchy phrase on the outside of the envelope that matches the style of the item packed inside and yes, don't forget to have loads of fun! ;)

Idea #10

You both love to party together or you guys are hosting a house party this valentines day and you know what flavours of drinks are his favorite, then create a liquid pot for him. Get small bottles of alcohol that he loves to have or that has memories associated with the two of you and put them in a pot using cane sticks. Tie the bottle using flexible silver wires and make you both have the legal age to drink yeah! Don't forget to raise a toast with everyone in the house.

I hope these ideas inspire you all to get creative! I loved them all and I wish I had enough time to pull all of them, but I know which one am I doing. Would love to hear which one was your favorite of the lot?

Happy 2nd Birthday Guiltybytes & Hello To The Indian Spring!

I know you all are upset with my staying away from blogging spree, but trust me there has been a lot happening lately and it kept me way too occupied that I couldn't, I simply couldn't concentrate on this baby. By now you all know how I am right? I mean, I would do anything whole heartedly than dividing attention and not doing either things with all my heart. And now I think I can write a book on how to make 46 hours in a 24 hour day, especially after juggling so much in the recent past! Anyway, the big news is that on Jan 31st, 2014 Guiltybytes made it to it's second successful year! I express all my gratitude to my beautiful followers & family who have made my life, more beautiful, everyday!

Remember, when I did my first outfit post? I will be honest, I was so skeptical. It was not like one of the best photography experience, I mean I was just beginning to learn right? But then, that was a time and Now I think I have come a loooooong way! Don't believe me? well then take a look below-

That was year 2013 in few pictures, but nevertheless I think I am blessed with the best set of readers. Some of you have always encouraged me and adored my posts, and then there those honest one's who have given me the required scope for improvement. Sugar or spice, I have loved it all.

Then came brands, associating with them and accessing the fashion weeks via this blog, It was and still has been a dream come true! More love and more page views made my blog one of the top blogs on google, hell yeah! Oh and Yes, Team Guiltybytes launched #blogshop. Most of you would remember how overwhelming the response was, one day and all sold out like how. This gave wings to my entrepreneurial aspirations and then I met people, artists, local designers and more. All these artistically driven people were in a quest for a platform that could help them showcase their work and thus came the first draft of the Blogshop Version 2.0

Driven by the vision to connect or reconnect Indians to their roots, we at The Indian Spring are aiming to promote artists and their crafts & creations at a very reasonable price.  Unlike other retailers, we don’t have exorbitant profit margins, but what you are ultimately going to pay for is the artist’s 100 hours of failures & experiments, his/her piece of heart but most importantly a moment of their life! And of course we are charging you the shipping and logistic fee which is mentioned clearly on our website!

The Indian Spring Team
