And my blog has completed 50,000+ page-hits in just a year, like wow and how! To thank all my readers, I am starting Reader's Special week that will have posts featuring my lovely readers and their style statement!

Denim Shirt love with Floral Dress!

I love Denim shirts, hell yeah! I love the way these over sized, boyfriend shirts can compliment any set of clothes, anytime. What I so love about these denim shirts is that they can compliment any body type, are absolutely casual and chic! For my perfect Saturday outing with my girls, I  paired my shirt with a floral summer dress and a waist belt.  Here's my Denim-Coffee Day!











So I am wearing denim shirt that I got from flee market from Select City Saket, Floral dress purchased from Mango last year, waist belt is from Globus, Watch from Aldo and the golden Tory Borch bracelet is from Pink Candy closet that I ordered online. And yes, on my lips is Maybelline #160, Infinitely Fuchsia!

Denim shirt rightly signifies street fashion. This look is perfect for everyday casual-chic wear. Dressing in denim can work great and fit into anyone's style. Whether you are fond of wearing lace, studs or bleached denim, there are tons of great options to find this summer. These are great to wear with pants, shorts and skirts, my second favorite looks is high waist skirt. Alot od peopelare not sure how to match a denim shirt with other clothing items, but the truth is there are ton of denim options out there with embellishments that are perfect fit for every personality. 


To all the girls, who share a similar built like mine, I'll suggest try a denim shirt over a dress, over a white tank top and jeans and yes with dark colored shorts too. It's very comfortable and very stylish to sport one this season. Wait no more, buy a denim shirt and spread the denim love this season :)

Hair Care Boot Camp on GuiltyBytes!

Lately I have started to receive a lot of queries regarding fashion, styling options, makeup, products and Hair, my hair! It gives me so much happiness to write on a topic that my readers are wanting to read on. So today I bring to you, Hair Care Boot Camp.



I have often been complimented for my extended locks and every-time my readers drop a comment or when some friend tells me that they like my hair, it just makes my day! (of-course post the compliment I go on blushing spree for forever). As you can see in the above picture collage, I have changed multiple hair styles and yet managed to have the kind of hair I have always wanted to.

Okay so here are my hair confessions
  • Due to overexposure in sun (largely due to sports in school and college time) my hair texture is a bit dry on the ends
  • Demographic change (again due to Military Daddy relocating every two years) has thinned my hair
  • The good side is the over extended length, no matter how often I get a haircut, my hair grows pretty fast
  • Very few split ends, like very few and a clean scalp
  • Waviness makes the hair good to look at whenever wherever
  • Lastly, the best part is that  my hair has never been infected by any chemical treatments

What do I do to keep them healthy?


Get your hands on few important hair care products. Uncomb and comb your hair by applying a hair Serum everyday. Oil your hair once every week, and do it with an Olive Oil (If you have extra oily hair then use oil not on the roots but run it through your hair strands). After your oiling regime, wet a towel in hot water, rinse it and wrap it on your oil filled head for some steam massage and rinse. Apply Hair conditioner after shampooing no matter what (a lot of women avoid conditioning due to lack of time, but darlings start swearing by it). Go for a shampoo that is rich in Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, it cleans the hair without stripping the hair of it;s essential oils. Start visiting a salon for regular trimming if you want your hair to grow like a Rapunzel. Avoid chemical treatments as much as you can, but if you have truly unmanageable hair then you can go in for hair smoothing on the crown region, but hey my hair is chemical free, i cant swear by this for sure. My last hair care secret is the yogurt recipe. In a bowl of yogurt, add 1 egg white, half lemon juice, 2 tsp olive oil and glycerin. Last tip in-order to get long hair, comb your hair backwards, its little tiring, but it sure helps!

Must Have's List for Men...!

I have been meaning to write a right post for the male readers of my blog, and trust me nothing else gives me more happiness than doing this today, finally. Okay so i'll be honest, the real motivation to do this post are those emails/FB messages and instant texts sent and shared by the boys, who have been liking guiltybytes for real.  




The post is simple and will answer many of the shared queries reading the men-must-have's list. Read on to find about the basic yet most important style staples that every man should include in his wardrobe

Style Staple #1


Feed your wardrobe with a nice pair pf blue denims. No matter how much experimental you are with the bottoms, this also means if you love color blocking, prints etc, do have a well fitted pair of jeans, yes JEANS in your must have's list. Don't go in very highly low waist jeans or baggy ones that may look like you have worn a grandpa pants, instead go in for a style that fits well on the legs and make you look taller. 

Style Staple #2


A man is known by the watch on his wrist, yes Mister this statement is absolutely true in the eyes of a girl. Do some savings, loan, borrow or get someone to gift you, but do get a watch to remember. Wear it with formals for sure but do wear it with your denims and shirt combination, looks absolutely HOT!

Style Staple #3


Ignore everything else in this picture but the checkered shirt. Weather you are tall or short or little heavy on the stomach, get a checkered shirt to do the magic on you. Pair it up with beige colour pants, denims, black trousers or shorts in summers, this is one design that remains evergreen forever.

Style Staple #4


Summers, winters or spring, get a pair of boots for yourself. Military inspired, these manly pair of shoes instill the manhood in any man and surely makes them look sexy. My personal favorite are the shoes so yes ensure you get the best looking pair for yourself, and if it's boots then my boy, YOU ARE SEXY!

Style Staple #5


Dear boys, we girls sincerely don't like seeing drooping pants/jeans/shorts, it's not cool. You don't want to splurge on anything else? GET a DAMN belt then! My advice, go for a chocolate brown belt, it stands out, adding a hint on tan to your outfit.

Style Staple #6


Beige pants, golf pants, camel colored trousers, get them right away! Wear it with colored, tee shirts, white shirt, checkered shirt and swag like never before.

100 Day Challenge- The Shopping Ban..!

I know that January is practically over, but I wanted to let all my beautiful readers know about my current 100 Day Challenge!  
2012 has been a very memorable year of my life, from graduation to job to meeting my childhood friend to a promotion, to making this blog a biggie, i had it all. In between i have been shopping for everything possible and picking it up whatever i like with a single pulse (the price tags are never my things you see), and hence making my wardrobe, a dream wardrobe (Proud Smiles). So as i was saying, with 2013 sinking in and everyone around me asking me about my New Year resolutions, i thought alot like ALOT! and here i am bringing my New Year resolution which is more like a Challenge- THE 100 DAY SHOPPING BAN (sympathies invited). 
I am a huge believer in setting ambitious goals. Who cares if sometimes they are a bit crazy, right? Not that i m broke or that i am jobless, it's about time i want to prove to my own-self that i don't need everything possible especially during the sales hour.
Besides, isn't it better to do savings and have a control on shopping urges (which also includes shoe love). A hundred days, wont be that easy (sigh) but nevertheless i have faith that after the end of 100 day Ban, i am going to be a much responsible Shopper with a fat bank balance (cant wait to see my mom's smile on this). If you are observing a shopping ban like me, do drop in a comment and comfort me, even if you are not then as i said sympathies are always welcome :)
