Sonam Kapoor In Monochrome

Sonam Kapoor was recently spotted at JW Marriott  in a monochrome outfit. The sultry diva wore a waistcoat- esque and paired it with a midi-length pleated skirt.

She accessorized with statement earrings, a black boxy bag, and black peep-toe shoes – and to add a pop of colour, she wore a gorgeous red lip colour. The actress makes sure that she leaves no stone un-turned when it comes to social appearances but what I did come across while doing this post was her Instagram post that conveyed about Sonam turning into a designer for her own self-

Poor lass did miss her designers for this one but never-mind, what I think is that she didn't do that bad. the ahir and makeup is perfect as usual and the vintage clothing works too, but I have some doubts about the shoes, yeah...But the question is, do you guys like her look?

Deepika Padukone Bedazzles At The Ramp

For the first time ever in the history of fashion shows in India, the audience were seated on the Ramp itself! Yes, this very new form of seating arrangement was seen at Manish Malhotra's Delhi Couture Week.

With superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone on the ramp, stunning old world setting and 1930's inspired wedding collection, Bollywood's favourite designer Manish Malhotra brought the curtain down at the PCJ Delhi Couture. While model-turned-actress, Deepika looked stunning in a navy blue velvet zardozi lehenga teamed with full puffed sleeved choli, her Chennai Express co-star SRK kept it simple in a black suit.

Manish also incorporated Chantilly lace, which was reminiscent of that time, reflecting old world charm of opulent India. While Manish was in all awe of his muse, his idea resembled a very old world town hall of 1930's. ''I think this is how a couture show in the 1930's would have been like. It was very personal and that is how I wanted it to be like," Manish added after the show.

Tabu Turns Draupadi on Ramp at Couture Week 2013

For all those who have been wondering where had our Bollywood actress Tabu been all this while, well your very own Miss GuiltyBytes spotted her scorching the ramp as modern day Draupadi for designer Anju Modi at the ongoing couture week 2013. Designer Anju Modi's displayed her Mahabharata-inspired collection on day one of the PCJ Delhi Couture Week.

Dressed in a red and gold lehenga teamed with a full-sleeved velvet blouse, the 41-year-old actress looked every bit regal as she walked down the ramp elegantly.

Though her look was less glamorous than the usual ramp sightings, what I totally loved about her look was her hair, yes I am biased towards long locks and her earthy skin tone that was shining absolutely gorgeously in the lehenga. I love the fact that actresses like her, who chose to not clothe up or cover up their curves, inspire Indian women to adorn their bodies!

The beauty and charm possessed by Draupadi was unveiled act-by-act. The first part celebrated the opulent "Marriage to Pandavas" with celebratory colours like crimsons, caramels, tamarinds and golds, which accentuated the romanticism and the magnificence.Transitioning to the "Game of Dice", shades of ash grey, indigo blue, maroon reflected the dilemma and chaos echoing within Draupadi.

The show culminated with Draupadi's "Devotion" towards Lord Krishna, and subtle, delicate shades of faune, blush and ivory resonated the ethereal bond and well to the actress all I can say is, hope she gets to wear Anju Modi for a real wedding someday ;)

Bangalore, July 19th, 2013: Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week Winter / Festive 2013 targeted at Breast Cancer Awareness joins hands with HCG Foundation and Pink Hope in its 9th Edition. The fashion week, organized by Dream Merchants, and scheduled to be held from 25th to 28th July, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza - Electronic City intends to raise funds for creating breast cancer awareness.

Breast cancer is one of most common forms of cancer and most people know someone dealing with this difficult disease. BP-BFW’s initiative is aimed at creating awareness and offer expert information for those dealing with this life-threatening disease. The fashion week, which has the voices of several celebrities and an audience of millions, is an excellent platform to create further awareness about breast cancer. The organizers also intend to raise funds during the occasion for the cause.

The funds collected from BP-BFW will be donated to the Pink Hope patient support group. HCG will then identify patients in critical stages of the disease who will be significantly helped from timely treatment. HCG will also ensure that the progress on the health of these patients is communicated to the organizers and contributors on a regular basis.
Several celebrities from various walks of life will also pledge for their support to the cause.
This edition of the fashion week will feature seminars and workshops on 28th July, 2013, the final day of the fashion week, featuring various personalities from the medical field and survivors of this ghastly disease.
Some of the other activities include:
·      The pioneering workshop on prevention, awareness and treatment of Breast Cancer will be conducted by two leading doctors and breast cancer survivors
·      Launch of a smart phone app for breast cancer by HCG
·      Leading designers such as Abhishek Dutta and Arjun Khanna will display their contribution through ‘Breast cancer awareness merchandise and a Pink Line show’ and an ‘Exclusive 'All Men Show' respectively.
·      The concept of 'Men are back' by Arjun Khanna, signifies male support to the disease. This would be the first for any Fashion Week to feature an all male Grand Finale.

“We are confident that the fashion community will join us in our initiative to support this cause as women form a very strong and integral part of the fashion industry. This is a disease that affects one in twenty Indian women in their lifetime and it is time that we all lent our support to those afflicted by it and create awareness about breast cancer. The prestige and credibility associated with the fashion week in spreading awareness is a great motivating factor,” Mr. Feroz Khan, Event Director - Dream Merchants said. “When breast cancer and its treatment overshadow everything, we see the woman underneath. The association of HCG with Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week themed at Breast Cancer Awareness is dedicated to providing emotional and practical support for Breast Cancer. Since its inception HCG has been a forerunner in promoting awareness of breast cancer issues and has evolved along with the national dialogue on breast cancer. This is the first campaign for better support and care to promote the importance of early detection, in support with Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week and we hope that we will be successful in our endeavor to spread the awareness,” Mr. Dinesh Madhavan, Director, HCG said.
